The Language of Devotion
Yoga as a language of devotion, often known as Bhakti Yoga, is the path of the heart. Through love, surrender, mantra, and heartfelt practice, Bhakti invites us into deeper connection — with ourselves, with others, and with something greater than the everyday mind.
In this four-class series, we explore the sacred teachings of devotion through key yogic texts including the Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Yoga Sutras, and Ramayana. These timeless teachings are woven into embodied practice to help bring spiritual philosophy into real daily life.
This course is devotional in nature, with mantra as a central thread throughout the series. Through movement, breath, meditation and reflection, you’ll be guided to awaken the energy of the heart and cultivate a more conscious, connected way of living.
Series includes:
- Teachings inspired by the sacred texts of yoga
- Exploration of Bhakti as the yoga of love and devotion
- Mantra woven throughout the practices
- Kriya, meditation, pranayama and intentional asana sequencing
- Practical ways to bring devotion, kindness and awareness into everyday life
- Space for reflection, connection and inner transformation
This series offers an opportunity to experience yoga not only as movement, but as a living practice of the heart.
