The Four Fruits of Life

The Quest for Liberation

In the yogic tradition, the Four Fruits of Life (Purusharthas) are the four aims of human existence: Dharma (purpose and right living), Artha (prosperity and stability), Kama (joy and fulfilment), and Moksha (liberation). Together, they offer a map for living a balanced, meaningful and spiritually aligned life.

In this three-class series, we explore these timeless teachings with a particular focus on Moksha — liberation. Not freedom from pain or challenge, which are natural parts of life, but freedom from delusion, fear, false identification and limiting patterns of thought.

Through movement, breathwork, kriya, meditation and sacred study, these classes invite you to explore what liberation can mean in a modern life: greater clarity, steadiness, inner freedom and connection to what is real.

Across the series, expect:

  •  Teachings inspired by the sacred texts of yoga
  •  Exploration of the Four Fruits of Life (the Purusharthas)
  •  A deeper focus on Moksha as inner liberation
  •  Dynamic asana, pranayama and kriya practices
  •  Meditation and reflection for self-enquiry
  •  Poetry, philosophy and practical wisdom

This course offers yoga not only as physical practice, but as a guide to living wisely, deeply and freely.
